Our integrated youth services are provided by NorWest Co-op Community Health, in partnership with Addictions Foundation of Manitoba (AFM), Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Centre (MATC), Rainbow Resource Centre, University of Manitoba, and others.
At Huddle, youth have a safe space to be authentically themselves. We welcome and respect people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, ethnicities, faiths, race/nationalities, and abilities.
We empower all youth, families, and services providers to show the same respect to others and to celebrate each other’s differences.
Get Involved
Our Youth Advisory Council is a fantastic way to create positive change in your community, to connect with youth with similar lived experiences and provide peer support. You’ll get the chance to help plan events, make decisions for our youth-led programming, and provide valuable guidance to other youth seeking support.
The mission of the NorWest Youth Hub Family Council is to create a real culture of change by facilitating the involvement of family and those who care about young people. The council promotes sustainable family engagement and active participation by ensuring that all members have a safe forum for support where their contributions are respected. We meet on a monthly basis and each member is encouraged to share their voice, work together, and alongside the Youth Advisory Council. The council is composed of family members/carers who have the lived experience of a loved one with mental health concerns, support youth in the community, or have been involved in mental health initiatives in any capacity.
Our youth hubs are located on Treaty 1 and Treaty 2 territories. These lands on which we gather are the traditional territories of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Assiniboine, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the birthplace of the Métis Nation.
